This is an interdisciplinary course comparing semiotic systems in East Asian and Western cultures.

This course is a broad overview of various linguistic, historical, and social aspects of the Austronesian language family.

本課的目標為培養學生在進行田野調查當中採錄語言材料的能力。

以課文與情境對話為主軸，針對聽力、閱讀、口說產出、口說互動與寫作等技能，
引領學習者培養基礎的土耳其語文能力。

本課程為本系99新制課表【群B：專題研究群組】之先修課程。旨在引導學習者獲得從事專題研究必備之基礎研究能力。

在聽、說、讀、寫四會並重的語言教學目標下，本課程藉由多媒體、網路材料及moodle數位學習網，加強聽、聽寫、讀、複述的能力。透過角色的演練，掌握各種不同情境下語言使用的熟巧。俄文歌曲學唱、俄語動畫觀賞以練習聽力發音並認識俄語特色與俄羅斯文化。

使同學掌握詞法的基本知識和初步的句法概念，以期在言語交際中正確運用。
語法主題包括名詞、形容詞等單複數的第二、三、四、五格之構成與應用；表達走、乘車之未綴運動動詞；動詞的體；動詞命令式；連接詞與句型

文學作品讀法 / Approaches to Literature

本課程教授專業學術寫作技巧，從段落至文章循序漸進，從中探討各類段落修辭與中英轉換差異，課程強調利用網路平台讓同學互評，藉此培養對文字的敏銳度及批判性思考的能力，藉以掌握字彙、句型、結構及說理論證。

課程目標 1.習得正確日語發音及增加單字量。 2.學習基礎句型,練習簡單的日常生活會話。 3.習得初級日語說聽讀寫四技能的溝通能力。

教學方式 1.採文法.會話並重之教學法。從名詞句.動詞句進而形容詞句,由淺入深並配合日常慣用語。 2.各課上課方式為先習得單字.句型.之後做句型練習.及會話講解。

此課程以整合式語言技能訓練方式進行上課，以提昇精進學生英語文聽、說、讀、寫等技能為目標，透過大量的閱讀資料和教材，學生得以從各類活動和作業中，學習如何與人合作與溝通, 進而訓練各項語言能力，完成各項作業與任務，並習得文化差異，培養國際視野。

Computational Linguistics

這一門課主要是介紹計算技術與語文分析的連結。我們將兼顧修課同學的背景與興趣，介紹程式語言、語文分析軟體、語文處理技術的應用、與數位人文領域中的計算語言學。

Methods and applications for analyzing linguistic information with computing technologies will be introduced in this course. The design of this new course will consider the background and interests of the students. As part of the initial plan, introduction to programming languages, software tools for analyzing corpora, practical applications related to languages, and the relationships between computational linguistics and digital humanities will be introduced.
